Florence has a deep-rooted with its territory. Its history and its great economic development led it in the Medici era become the symbol of progress and beauty, where the Renaissance blossomed and flourished. In the wake of that magical and unrepeatable historical period, everything became art, a desire to grow and learn and in turn to teach and pass on. Tuscany is not just Florence, but a territory rich in many other important regions, which over time have been able to shine with their own light.
The areas bordering the city of Lorenzo De Medici, said the Magnifico, those of the Arno valley, both upper and lower, distinguished themselves in particular in the handcrafted production of goods for the home: tableware and furniture.
Among these, Montelupo Fiorentino, which between the 15th and 16th century became a center of excellence for the production of artistic ceramics intended for the wealthy Florentine families enriched by the wool and banking trades.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Montelupo Fiorentino was and is a milestone in the history of ceramics not only in Tuscany but nationally and internationally.
There are designes and decorations that were born and still are born in Montelupo Fiorentino that have become icons on a global level .
In Montelupo Fiorentino there is a Ceramics Museum that tells this centuries-old story and which shows how kilns for the production of ceramics were already present in these places since Roman times.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
